Lifecasting

Picture 1According to Wikipedia (now the center of all knowledge) “Lifecasting” is “a continual broadcast of events in a person’s life through digital media.”  Though the term is still awkward and has yet to hit mainstream status, for many of us, the fact that we post so much of our lives through the various Internet channels, puts us in the “Lifecaster” category.

I’ve been lifecasting on the social web for a few years now. You can follow me on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or simply google my name to see what I’ve been doing for the last 10 years.

This blog has running for almost a year, but I’ve actually been blogging on other platforms, since 2006. My personal blog is here, my videoblog here, and my dog’s blog is here. If you are a hardcore fan you can visit my personal web page here. Scattered among those pages you will also find examples of my photography, and music, videos, and other writings and musings.

Social media is not for everyone, but for those that embrace it, lifecasting can be a marvelous way to keep in touch, reach business goals, and  keep an online chronicle of life’s activities and events.
